Triptyk Studios, an award-winning, multi-platform production company in development on multiple television and film projects independently and with major networks, studios and A-list talent, and a producer of multiple Broadway shows (incl. ''An American in Paris'', ''Oh, Hello on Broadway!'', ''You're Welcome America'', ''Xanadu'') is seeking two interns, effective June 2017 and continuing through at least September 1, 2017.
This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates in the Los Angeles area interested in learning from a busy production office currently developing a wide range of projects for film, television and theatre, and reporting directly to LA-based Writers and Artistic Directors B. Swibel, Adam Westbrook, and Craig Cox, and CEO, Tara Smith.
We are especially looking for interns with availability at least three days per week.
Attention to detail, professional demeanor, and a sense of humor are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Pages and Google apps (Drive, Docs, Calendar, etc) also required. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop et al) and Movie Magic preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Contributing feedback for film, television, and theater projects.
- Assisting with the production of pitch materials for projects in development.
- Compiling and organizing research for theatrical, television and film projects.
- Covering plays and screenplays according to studio format.
- Assisting with special events related to projects in development.
- Basic office tasks such as answering phones, filing, faxing, running errands etc, as needed.
A modest transportation stipend is available as needed. College credit is available.
