Intern - Press/Publicity

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

The TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL Publicity Office is looking for creative, hardworking and responsible college students and recent grads ('10, '11) that have a strong interest in film, publicity and film festivals, for the 2012 TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL.

Interns are an integral part of the publicity team. Responsibilities include:

• Draft fact sheets, recap sheets, press kits and press breaks and press pitches

• Research niche media for outreach

• Coordinate materials from films requested from the Festival

• Supervise press screenings

• Assist with press events, interviews and other film activities.

Ideal candidates must be dedicated, detail-oriented and eager to assist the department’s overall operations. This is a great position for someone with a strong desire to learn the inner-workings of a film festival. This internship is slated to start this February and last until mid May of 2012.
