The Product Manager role is one that will be focused on maximizing business value from the product(s) provided to clients. This position would be responsible for managing all overall support of Tri Star Sports & Entertainment software implementation and technology efficiency. Develops products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies.
Specific responsibilities for this position include:
• Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
• Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas.
• Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
• Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
• Obtains product market share and works to develop product sales strategies.
• Performs market research to assess product market data and evaluating customer reviews.
• Analyzes proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with developers.
• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees/vendors; following up on work results.
• Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
• Optimize products to achieve business goals while also maximizing the return on investment.
• Assist with the troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of systems.
• Responsible for coordinating appropriate resources for software training to company users as necessary.
• Maintain knowledgeable on top performing hardware and purchase/install when necessary.
• Provide input and recommendations to the organization surrounding hardware and software technologies and how these technologies can assist the business being especially proactive with new technologies.
• Develop and monitor performance levels of software and hardware and evaluate, recommend, and propose alternate methods of information processing.
• Maintain hardware and software maintenance agreements to ensure integrity of operations processes.
• Assist in production of website additions/changes and other technology-based brand marketing and outsource to reputable sources when necessary.
This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who possesses strong initiative and the ability to complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. He or she needs to possess the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to solicit support to complete tasks.

• Suggests ways to use data analysis tools or otherwise automate processes.
• Possesses excellent spreadsheet skills.
• Establishes trust with others.
• Cultivates relationships and establishes networks through professional contacts.
• Partners with members of the department on assignments which require shared information.
• Understands relationships among several parts of a problem.
• Involves management in process after alternatives have been developed and can be presented.
• Sees patterns that help to explain the root causes of complex problems.
• Applies creative, practical solutions to solve problems that are not obvious to others.
• Develops estimates, establishes deadlines.
• Monitors tasks and assignments to ensure accurate and timely completion.
• Coordinates the work of all resources to achieve maximum productivity.
Desired Education:
• College Degree
• Strong academic record
• Experience in managing several concurrent projects for at least 2 years
• 3-4 years of experience at an IT or Product Management firm
• Experience within the entertainment industry or web design would be ideal.
