SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE...
- Oversee creation, implementation, management and adherence of all Tri Star's processes and procedures.
- Keeps current on industry and technology affecting Tri Star functions to increase innovation and compliance.
- Develops and executes training programs related to existing, future policies and procedures, in addition to education and instruction to business management/ financial accounting staff on entertainment industry standards and practices.
- Responsible for user adoption of existing and future processes and procedures.
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business.
- Work closely with management team and assist to build efficient operational processes.
- Implement operational best business practices.
- Manage third party vendors to which functions have been outsourced (Payroll, Systems, Banking).
- Ensure the scheduling of financial packages (Annual, Quarterly, Monthly and Weekly).
- Oversee ad hoc financial and reporting processes to determine value and need for permanent process and procedure.
- Ensure all process and procedures meet the requirement of auditor and government agencies.
- Timely distribution of new, revised or updated policies and procedures to all users and those in a position of responsibility related to the policy and procedure.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts to reduce redundancies and streamline processes and procedures.
SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS...
- BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Tax, or equivalent with strong academic record.
- Experience in managing several concurrent projects for at least 4 years.
- Experience using QuickBooks and Excel. Proficiency in tax software and technology.
- 8+ years of experience within a Business Management Firm and/or the entertainment industry where there would be good transferability of skills.
