Professional audio company seeks a full-time Senior Service Technician to repair audio and RF equipment. Our clients are film & TV customers with audio Sales, Rentals and Service needs. We're located in several US and Canadian cities, and now opening in Atlanta.
We offer a salary commensurate with qualifications and an excellent benefits package. We are a Service-oriented company and understand/support the needs of the repair/maintenance professional.
As a Senior Service Technician, your duties include:
- Repair electronic and mechanical problems on audio equipment
- Provide support and troubleshooting over the phone and in person
- As the lead technician in a start-up shop, you will have the opportunity to organize your workflow, though the infrastructure is in place. You will work with a cable technician, providing him/her with technical support as needed.
You will have the support of an international corporation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in electronics component level trouble-shooting.
- Advanced understanding of analog & digital equipment, tools, and the testing and repair process in general
- Ability to use all basic electronic test equipment and optimally RF test equipment.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, sales & quote software)
- RF experience would be a major asset, as would Broadcast /Location Audio repair experience, and these will be considered in compensation offer.
