Full Time Contractor Position
Position: Social Media Manager & Strategist
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience running/strategizing social media accounts and/or online writing/editing/curating for the web
Understanding of the digital landscape and a proven interest in keeping up to date with developments in social media platforms and applications
Familiarity with data analytics and developing new strategies based off those analytics
Ability to break down those analytics in order to create accessible reporting for executives, brands, and producers
Deep enthusiasm for finding, sharing, and writing about videos from the deepest depths of the web
Deep understanding of metadata and its impact on content and SEO
Strong organizational skills
Exceptional writing and speaking skills
Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities
Can work effectively and creatively under daily deadline pressure
Strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with talent, executives, and major brands
Comfortable within an ever evolving start up environment
Candidates with data science, statistical, or mathematical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and analyze video and distribute/market content releases and schedules across multiple social media platforms, including, but not limited to: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat
Monitor discussions, posts, engagement, and comments across social media platforms
Generate new and creative growth strategies across major social media platforms
Work with other teams (Executives, Brands, Marketing) to develop strategic metrics/KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Bringing traditional and creative ideas to assist with organic growth
Creative A/B testing and being able to analyze those results and adjust accordingly
Execute Strategic Ad Purchases across all major social media platforms
Analyzing the data, metrics, and users' feedback
Presenting ideas/data/feedback to other departments in order to enhance results
Prioritizing and optimizing all content
Scaling and automating the content growth processes
Creating viral growth
