Position: Graphics Artist/Animator
Trending All Day is currently seeking an eager and exceptional Graphic Designer/Animator. This role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and to juggle multiple conflicting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with post production and development to integrate appropriate graphics and animations into weekly and daily format
- Ensure a consistent visual brand experience and messaging across all contents
- Work closely with Head of Production, Post Production, and Development and Executives on multiple project
- Must be a self-starter with a thick skin, able to handle the ever evolving workflow of a start up environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize while working in a team oriented environment and with conflicting deadlines
- Exceptional writing and verbal abilities, allowing you to effectively communicate ideas and improvements
- Must have great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
- Must be detailed-oriented, technical, organized, and creative
- Ability to think independently and suggest creative options to producers and executive team
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and juggle competing priorities
- Highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to cut at a timely pace while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Must be able to operate and adapt within an ever-evolving start up environment
- Must have a reel and/or samples of your work
Skills/Abilities:
- Video editing and motion graphic design required
- Proficient in Adobe CC Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
- Element 3D and/or Cinema 4D experience a plus. 3D knowledge is encouraged but not necessary for the position.
Experience:
- Professional experience (2-4 years) in Graphic Design and/or Animation
- BA or MFA degree in Film Production or Communications; preferably with editorial focus
- Interactive and multimedia design (including video and motion graphics) is a plus, preferably for an entertainment company
- An eye for composition and layout
- In depth understanding of color theory and color relationships
- Must have a working knowledge of typography, layout, and art direction.
