Trailer Park Post is adding to its roster of Online Editors who have a high level of technical and creative skill in video finishing. Must have at least three years online/finishing experience. Fluency in Flame Assist and FCP 7 are required. Avid experience is a plus but not required. Candidates must be focused, detail oriented and able to work quickly in a high-pressure deadline driven environment. Trailer Park is unique in that we service all divisions. In one day you may be required to finish a long form documentary in Flame Assist and multiple TV spots in Final Cut 7. Versatility and flexibility are essential for maintaining Trailer Park Post’s positive atmosphere and efficient workflow. Looking for service oriented client facing team players that can work cooperatively and collaborate to produce the best possible product.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Post Director and Supervisors to determine condition of project/finish prep in order to construct approval/delivery schedules.
• Identify and callout missing and/or low quality sources
• Convert mismatched source media / re-convert incorrectly converted media from original source.
• Uprez, overcut, conform, color correct, light vfx, cleanup.
• Confirm finished piece against offline reference.
• Director of Post or Supervisor will review and approve finished picture prior to Producer approval.
• Conduct Producer/Client picture approvals (with final mixed audio) and adjust picture as directed.
• Confirm slate info and tags match and are correct.
• Master all necessary versions to tape and export files as needed. Be available for fixes, if needed, after QC check.
• Work with our staff online editors to help maintain organization of media storage and ensure that projects are being structured, maintained and archived properly.
• Provide applicable technical/workflow support and trouble-shooting when needed.
Software Knowledge:
• Flame Assist
• FCP 7
• FCP Color
• Avid (Plus but not required)
• After Effects (Plus but not required)
