We have a fun and fast-paced culture (which we all thrive on), and we are seeking an extremely talented Financial Analyst with excellent analytical skills, a can-do attitude and tons of initiative to join our team.
Duties will include, but not limited to, the following:
• Manage project budgets by reading cost reports and raising/anticipating issues with Account Executives (AEs)
• Work closely with PMs / AEs on client bill backs
• Work closely with PMs / AEs on 3 month revenue outlook with anticipation for seasonality and reasons for overages / shortfalls against defined targets
• Communicate with staff on timesheet compliance
• Communicate and follow up with clients on Purchase Order Requests (PORs) and billings
• Work closely with Corporate finance to develop annual budgets and forecasts, along with setting defined targets for AEs
• Run post-mortem on prior and current clients/projects with suggestions for margin improvements
• Work closely with Accounting during month end on our close of books
• Run ad-hoc analysis as needed
• Find operational and billing inefficiencies and suggest better controls
• Compare YOY and/or monthly clients billings with intentions of finding trends in data and suggesting action items
• Request job numbers and track inter-departmental billings
• Generate vendor purchase orders
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Be able to read financial statements and explain variances, verbally and/or written
• Be able to generate freelance and 3rd party tracking tools and the impact of such spending on job(s) P&L
• 2+ years of Public Accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, and prioritization skills
• Outgoing personality that encourages others to come together to solve issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
