The position of Associate User Experience Designer at Trailer Park, Inc. requires a strong passion for user-centered design. This person is an advocate for the user and has a good instinct for creating products that are easy to use.
It is the Associate User Experience Designer's responsibility to work closely with other key members of the digital team to create best in class work. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed UX documentation for websites, apps, smart TVs and other interactive experiences.
Key working relationships:
The Associate User Experience Designer will be required to work closely with User Experience design team leads as well as Producers, Developers and Designers.
Essential Job Functions
• Collaborate with Producers, Designers and Developers working across multiple projects
• Build and push project work to new levels
• Execute quality design work in alignment with Trailer Park's high standards
• Work with project teams throughout development and deployment stages
• Participate in creative concept development brainstorms
• Create and own UX documentation including wireframes, site maps and clickable prototypes
• Conduct and present UX research including surveys, interviews, personas and customer journeys
• Advocate for the user within and beyond the digital interface

• Willingness to learn and perfect craft of user experience design
• Ability to work within a team, collaborate, and listen to feedback
• Ability to produce creative, and imaginative user experience design work
• Good time management and communication skills
• Adaptable and flexible with changes in decisions and procedures
• Able to anticipate and quickly absorb new information
• Ability to create polished work that is both client facing and developer facing
Knowledge/Skills
• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human-computer Interaction or User Experience Design
• Familiarity with current web standards and patterns
• Some experience with user research and usability testing
• Proficiency with Omnigraffle, Sketch or equivalent wireframing software
• Comfortable with basic Mac software including Keynote
• Knowledge of developing visual/interactive/interface design trends
• Good information architecture skills
• A passion for detail oriented work
