Trailer Park, one of the world’s leading entertainment agencies is looking for an imaginative Strategist to join our Integrated Strategy team. This person is a problem solver with a creative mind – a mix of a thinker, doer, cultural voyeur and self-starter, who can inspire, excite and help creatives & clients with game-changing thinking that leads to effective creative solutions.
Essential Job Functions
• Collaborate and support in research initiatives
• Bring the target to life, enlist & inspire all internal & external constituents
• Be a student of culture and cultivate fresh ways to understand the brand, category, culture and audience relevant to our client´s business
• Uncover powerful insights that drive big ideas and inspire creative partners from beginning to end.
• Facilitate strategic and creative ideation
• Help turn data into compelling stories
• Write and support creative briefs and lay out actionable roadmaps to lead creatives & clients to fresh, category-changing solutions
• Develop communications strategies for reaching diverse audiences across multiple media
• Work closely and proactively with senior planners to solve all day-to-day planning needs
Knowledge / Skills
• Keen understanding of the impact of technology on culture and human behavior
• Strong interest in fandoms across different industries, film, TV, music, videogames, etc.
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills (book smarts street smarts)
• Familiarity and understanding of research methodology in the digital space (i.e. online surveys, panels, social networks, ethnographies, one-on-one interviews, digital cultural anthropology and usability).
• Able to break down complex problems in a simplified, creative, and innovative way
• Willing to ask different questions to get to different answers
• Big-picture thinking plus relentless attention to detail
Job Related Qualification Standards
2 or 3 years of strategy experience in the entertainment or advertising industry
• Passion for Pop Culture & Entertainment, focusing on how and why people interact with it
• Solid experience with tools like: Simmons Experian, Crimson Hexagon, Survey Monkey, Google Analytics, etc...
• Motivated to apply the rigor the job requires while having the courage to trust your gut
• Ability to stand up for your own ideas about what works, what doesn’t, and why
• Combine book smarts with street smarts
• Capacity to handle a wide variety of tasks and assignments in a dynamic fast paced work environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
• P roficiency in Keynote
• Experience in beauty & fashion is a plus
