Full Time Job
Trailer Park is looking for a Presentation Designer. This individual possesses exceptional design skills and is a compulsive problem-solver with excellent visualization, collaboration, and communication skills. The ideal candidate is someone who will go beyond the usual “title and bullet point” slide designs. A passion for designing the best presentation decks is a must. As Trailer Park’s Presentation Designer, you will work with all divisions of the company as well as other companies under the ENGINE Group (our parent company), as creative support, to visualize ideas for use in internal and external client-facing presentations.
Responsibilities
• Create highly customizable and configurable presentation templates in PowerPoint, Keynote or InDesign
• Coordinate and design content for agency presentations to Trailer Park’s clients and New Business prospects (PowerPoint, Keynote, InDesign)
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce visually appealing PowerPoint and/or Keynote (and InDesign) presentations that engage audiences
• Create images, charts, and infographics that more effectively communicate key messages
• Concept, design, and execute marketing communications such as email blasts and mailers
• Establish a style guide, and “look” for all presentations for the agency, ensuring consistent brand standards across all presentations
• Organize and catalog visual assets
• Develop a working knowledge of our brands, and produce creative that supports and strengthens those brands
• Retouch, color correct, and output/convert digital photographs for best use in presentations
• Package and optimize presentations and assets for sharing, printing and distribution
• Coordinate pitch or new business meetings as needed.
• Work with other team members to produce work in an efficient manner
• Edit materials as needed
• Deliver projects on time
Qualifications
• Four-year degree in graphic design, art, communications, or a related field preferred
• 4 - 5 years in design; agency or entertainment experience preferred
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
• Proficient in Keynote and PowerPoint
• Excellent design skills
• Good knowledge of typography, grid systems and page layout
• Ability to design for different screen types and form factors
• Ability to work under minimal supervision while still delivering commitments on time
• Strong attention to detail—including English grammar and usage, with an ownership mentality
• Ability to take loose sketch ideas and develop sophisticated and polished designs
• Professional manner and polished interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment, as well as work independently and exercise sound professional judgment
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously
• Commitment to responsiveness, high quality work and confidentiality and customer service
• Good artistic eye, understanding of the graphic requirements of a project
• Good communicator/collaborator
