We partner with studios and filmmakers, from the first frame of shooting through the life of the project, to build comprehensive advertising strategies that fill theaters, drive television ratings, or give fans unique insights into the making of the film in our Blu-Ray and DVD added value content.
Trailer Park is looking for an exceptional Post Production Supervisor to join our Content division. We are looking for someone who is fast paced, organized and professional who can efficiently supervise and streamline all incoming and outgoing Client post production requests.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinating editors and bays:
• Send out daily status update of editorial schedule to Content department
• Review editor needs daily or as necessary
• Review due dates to help prioritize projects when calendaring.
• Meet weekly with each Producing team to schedule editorial, finishing, and delivery and priorities.
• Research and obtain reels for freelance and possible staff editorial needs including editors/AEs.
• Work with producers to make sure they are on track and staying on schedule/budget.
Order picture and sound masters:
• Ensure all masters are ordered in correct format (both picture and audio).
Receive all masters:
• Ensure all masters are delivered on correct stock and are the elements that we were expecting/need. If not, re-order immediately and notify appropriate department so that client can be notified if necessary.
• Coordinate dubbing of screeners with project’s Producer.
• Ensure screeners and master are received in timely manner, according to due dates; proposal, editorial and final delivery
• Ensure all materials are logged properly into the vault
Ensure editors have all elements needed to begin editorial process:
• Supervise digitizing of materials as needed.
• Supervise lead AE on master list of all materials that has been digitized (including which SAN, LTO, or eSATA they are on)
• Ensure all materials are prepped for editorial correctly, including (but not limited to) masters, graphics and score.
Scheduling finishing:
• Approve all final delivery requirements for each studio and each authoring facility.
• Work with producers to make sure that they are ready to go into finishing when needed.
• Work with finishing department to schedule finishes through online/sweetening and verify final delivery.
Responsible for rough/final delivery:
• Coordinate producer QC of tape of final output.
• Confirm all client delivery specs.
• Make sure Trailer Park house copy is accounted for.
• Track all upcoming scheduled deliveries and provide weekly updates to the Finishing dept.
Job Related Qualification Standards
• 3-5 years experience in post-production.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
