Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions
• Provide music supervision and licensing on all accounts for TV / New AV projects.
• Edit music to picture for client and internal presentations.
• Contact, coordinate and organize a wide variety of artists to perform live at Trailer Park.
• Negotiate, oversee, and manage budgets for both original and licensed music.
• Oversee all of the creative and business aspects of the music for a project.
• Supervise the acquisition and delivery of all music elements for the Audio/Visual department.
• Spearhead ongoing relationship with labels for choosing, negotiating, licensing and securing music for clients.
• Work closely with labels to identify emerging and established artists for projects and customer initiatives, and serving as chief editor of song content and playlist compilation.
• Manage all third-party material for external licensing of music pieces and generate clearance requests.
• Work closely with producers and editors to select cues for sizzle reels and trailers.
• Ensure the company owned music library is available.
• Work with existing Music vendors to ensure that the music drives are up to date and we always have access to vendors’ newest music cues.
• Work closely with Legal to ensure that all Music Library deals are fulfilled contractually.
• Work collectively with producers and editors to select music efficiently.
Qualifications:
Job Related Qualification Standards
• A bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business, Recording Arts, Film, Entertainment Law or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience as Theatrical or TV Music Supervisor.
• Must have working knowledge of or experience in the music/entertainment industry.
• Must have solid knowledge of synchronization, performance, and master rights.
• Candidate must be well-versed in numerous musical genres and understand song craft.

• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills in a multi-tasking environment.
• Works collaboratively and proactively on multi-functional teams. Open to feedback.
• Excellent negotiating and people skills.
