General Summary
Deep Focus is currently looking for a talented Mid-level Digital Producer who will work under the supervision of the Associate Director of Production and assist in running the process of producing digital campaigns from conception to launch, including banners, web pages, video and social content, and beyond. Candidates should be equally comfortable working with our internal team and interacting with clients. The Digital Producer provides structure and overall vision on client projects. They are ultimately responsible for the successful development of projects, working closely with cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure solutions are delivered on-time and on budget according to defined scope, timeline and cost parameters. This role will interface heavily with senior marketing, technical, and executive management to assure that the solution is understood and addresses the client's business requirements. As a primary member of the Client Services team, the Producer is responsible for managing larger and more complex client relationships and projects.
Responsibilities
• Work with the pursuit team to complete RFP's project scoping, sizing and pricing estimates.
• Manages larger and more complex client relationships and projects.
• Develop, maintain and effectively execute project plans throughout the life of assigned project(s) according to established procedures, channels and success expectations.
• Create and maintain a project schedule, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration and associated resource requirements.
• Plans for and acquires appropriately skilled project resources to complete assigned tasks.
• Contribute to establishing project vision.
• Responsible for ensuring that all needed assets and resources are identified to successfully meet client expectations.
• Develop and maintain all project deliverables including project charters, budgets, project plans, issues logs, status reports, and change orders etc.
• Assure that projects complete according to schedule and within budget.
• Manage and report the project financials including weekly resource hours and overall project budget burns.
• Forecast, track and manage project budgets, POs and invoices.
• Participates in the development and maintenance of all legal documentation pertaining to clients (e.g. Statements of Work, Change Order Requests, etc.).
• Ensures that all project documentation is produced in the standard format, follows internal documentation processes and is reviewed and approved by Director of Production, Client Services or EVP prior to delivery to the client.
• Acts as the client point-of-contact for all project related issues.
• Contribute to continual process and people management innovation, supporting effective delivery of solutions
• Drive project to delivery by establishing clear project parameters supporting the success of all internal and client team members.
• Understand and communicate client business needs to the internal team and to third-party translation vendors.
• Promote high standards of professional integrity on all proposed and actual client business solutions.
• Negotiate, define, communicate and manage the scope of the project, including the change control process.
• Define, negotiate, communicate, implement and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables.
• Manage quality trade-offs.
• Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables.
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks.
• Represents the team's consensus in all client communications clearly.
Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and bug tracking software.
• Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in managing project, departmental and enterprise risks related to projects, systems and business analysis.
• Successful history of client contact including experience in setting and managing client expectations.
• Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, web technologies, web development processes and the delivery of solutions with creative and engineering components.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• In addition, ideal candidates will have hands-on integrated marketing experience.
• Working knowledge of internet methodology/software development a plus.
