Full Time Job
The Director of New Business is responsible for driving digital revenue and spearheading business development initiatives that are consistent with Trailer Park’s overall strategy.
This role will work under the direction of the President of Digital to develop a sustainable revenue strategy, identify business opportunities, initiate and maintain new business partnerships, provide thought-leadership to key clients and internal management support across the departments.
Establish a New Business Practice across Trailer Park Digital to include:
• Gain a deep understanding of the organization’s capabilities to help develop and articulate a compelling value proposition.
• Implement a new business process that can be scaled and used across all Trailer Park groups for the pursuit of new business with new or existing clients.
• Develop new business strategy – story, verticals, target brands and revenue forecasts.
• Implement new business operations to include the creation and updating of sales/response documentation – pursuit briefs, brainstorm/strategy briefs, capabilities decks, pitch deck templates, proposal templates, marketing messaging and website messaging.
• Communicate and track all customer opportunities to management, and internal teams as appropriate.
New Business Development
• Proactively target and develop relationships with key industry prospects.
• Respond to customer inquiries while being committed to excellence, regardless of division.
• Partner with key industry partners in the area of joint business development and building compelling, complimentary solutions.
• Lead and manage development of proposal and presentation strategies.
• Understand customers' unique needs and business models to negotiate deal structures and contracts to close integrated opportunities.
• Contribute to overall business development strategy, methodology, staffing and tools of the combined agency.
• Attend industry related conferences and networking opportunities, as beneficial to the agency.
• Communicate innovative industry opportunities and trends to management in order to best position the company for success.
Client Services / Account Services
• Nurture, maintain and grow existing clients within Trailer Park Digital.
• Partner with the on-going production teams to support existing clients and generate re-occurring revenue.
• Co-develop initial transition and account plans for new clients.
Business Development Support
• Support the needs of Trailer Park for all digital business pitches and opportunities.
• Provide integrated strategic business development support to other Trailer Park divisions.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, research, etc. across divisions in an effort to integrate the various divisions of the agency.
