Freelance Job
Trailer Park is seeking a Freelance Branded Content Producer with at least 4-5 years’ experience. The Branded Content Producer will be responsible for ensuring that deliverables are produced on time, on budget, and on creative brief.
Essential Job Functions
• Direct responsibility for overseeing a range of projects, both small scale and large scale. Responsibility will be inclusive of concept development and budgeting through post/delivery. All projects will include supervision of post-production. Some projects could include supervision of both production and post-production.
• Establish clear project parameters supporting the success of all internal and client team members. Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensure effective exchange of project information, es tablish and maintain schedules; disseminate plans, specs, and deadlines to team.
• Work closely with creative director to ensure that their creative vision is supported and remains in line with Client’s vision as well as budget and timeline parameters.
• Provide a budget and timeline based on project scope and deliverables and oversee that budget and schedule throughout the course of the project. Contribute to establishing project vision.
• Liaise with production team/on-set producer in bidding stage through shoot to ensure that the split of responsibilities between production and post production are clearly established and that there is a seamless transfer of materials to post-production.
• Manage and communicate with a team that may includes creative director, copywriter, coordinators, editors, graphic designers, and finishing to ensure that all deliverables are produced, approved, and delivered on time, within budget, and without errors.
• Communicate effectively with Clients and 3rd party agencies. Act as client point-of-contact for all project related issues, esp. if there is no Account Manager assigned to the project. Understand and communicate client business needs to the internal team. Represent the team's consensus in all client communications.
• Ensure that all needed assets and resources are identified to successfully meet project requirements; Communicate clearly with internal editorial and graphics supervisors to assure maximized workflow and talent resourcing.
• Manage and report project financials. Forecast, track and manage project budgets, POs and invoices with assistance of coordinator.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of all legal documentation pertaining to project (e.g. Statements of Work, Change Order Requests, Rights Clearances, etc.).
• Ensure that all project documentation is produced in the standard format, follows internal documentation processes and is reviewed and approved by appropriate parties prior to dissemination.
• Define, communicate, implement and monitor the project’s scope as well as quality standards on all project deliverables.
• Identify, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks.
Qualifications
• 4-5 years of previous experience as Producer including experience in Motion Graphics.
• Ability to think conceptually, and distill complex information into clear topics and ideas. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with and relate to all levels both within and outside the organization. Consistently communicate using appropriate methods for the situation and audience in a clear, concise and professional manner.
• Communicate clearly with Clients, 3rd party agencies and divisions. Successful history of client contact including experience in setting and managing client expectations.
• Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Able to respect the needs of the overall team, i.e. successfully manage one’s own projects’ resource needs without compromising other producers’ projects.
• Work collaboratively and proactively on multi-functional teams. Open to feedback. Strong interpersonal relations skills with ability to handle strong personalities. Demonstrated ability to motivate staff/project team, inspire teamwork and take a leadership role. Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills.
• Possess time and priority management skills necessary to complete work within established timeframes.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Also must be able to see the big picture, and how details impact it.
• Possess excellent problem solving skills; critically important to have excellent ability to anticipate problems and clearly articulate creative solutions. Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings. Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to consistently display a professional demeanor and stay cool under pressure.
