Position Overview:
Total Traffic Network, Philadelphia, PA has an immediate opening for a part-time/fill-in radio Traffic & News anchor based in the Philadelphia market. Ideal candidate will be experienced on-air broadcasters who can clearly communicate traffic & news in a concise logical manner. Strong verbal and written communications skills are required.
As a Traffic/News Anchor you will:
• Provide live and voice tracked radio traffic and news reports covering the Philadelphia and South Jersey market
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Philadelphia and South Jersey roadways
• Previous traffic reporting or news anchoring experience is strongly preferred
• Strong conversational on-air delivery a must
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines
• Adapt to quickly changing information and environment
• Ability to learn quickly, take direction well and work independently
• Computer and digital editing proficiency
• Outgoing and personable
• Works well individually or within a team
• Flexible schedule with ability and willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekend shifts as well as some Holidays
