''Summary
This role is responsible for providing analytical and technical support for the Executive Compensation and Corporate Compensation functions. Specifically, the incumbent will participate in the preparation of materials for Compensation Committee meetings, administration of executive and broad-based compensation programs, analyses of external market data, and other ongoing and ad-hoc projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the field of compensation, strong analytical skills, superb attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to successfully navigate conflicting work priorities and occasional tight deadlines while working independently and as a cohesive member of the compensation team.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide support for the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
• Conduct job market pricing and compensation evaluations and develop compensation recommendations for corporate employees and senior executives.
• Assist in preparing detailed analyses and materials for the Compensation Committee.
• Participate in the annual compensation planning processes.
• Monitor and research developments in tax, accounting, and disclosure requirements related to compensation.
• Complete compensation survey data requests for base pay, short term incentives, long term incentives, and executive perquisites.
• Participate in other projects supporting the compensation function.
Education
• Minimum Education: BA or BS in related disciplines (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, etc.).
Experience
• Up to 3 years of experience in a compensation or human resources role.
• Experience working at a compensation and/or management consulting firm is a plus.
Skills
• Working knowledge of compensation principles, financial analysis, and accounting.
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills; particularly initiative and the ability to anticipate needs and issues.
• Strong process-orientation and ability to develop quality documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.
• High degree of sensitivity and discretion in working with confidential information.
• Advanced-level computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).''
