POSITION SUMMARY:
This individual will report into the Executive Director of Benefits Solutions. This position will assist with the design and performance of the Time Warner Health and Welfare plans. This individual will work closely with key stakeholders including but not limited to, the Executive Director, Benefits Solutions; Divisional Compensation and Benefits Leads; Divisional HR Generalists; and several external service providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists with the strategy and design of Time Warner's H&W programs
• Manages the selection process for H&W benefits plan vendors
• Monitors benefits trends and market developments
• Responsible for day-to-day relationship with multiple H&W vendors to ensure effective and accurate delivery of programs and compliance with service level agreements
• Monitors and measures overall effectiveness, including cost effectiveness, of enterprise wide benefits programsConsults with key stakeholders including but not limited to, Executive Director, Benefits Solutions, Divisional Compensation and Benefits Leads, Divisional HR and internal and external counsel, as appropriate
• Assists with preparing recommendations to management for improvement of programs, procedures and practices
• Keeps key stakeholders informed of issues that may arise both internally and externally
• Demonstrates understanding of H&W theories, principles, legislative requirements and applications
• Such other duties as may be required by business needsREQUIREMENTS:
• 5 - 10 years relevant experience supporting benefit plans
• Experienced in all regulatory aspects of H&W plans and wellness programs
• Proven experience managing complex projects
• Vendor management experience
• Knowledge of trends and internal processes related to delivery of H&W plans
• Comprehensive knowledge of H&W plans and payroll administration
• Comprehensive knowledge of administration systems
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical articles and legal documents
• Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from internal/external customers and vendors
• Ability to effectively present information to upper management
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Comprehensive project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding consultative skills and the ability to influence others for which there is no direct reporting relationship
• Ability to professionally interact with all levels including executive managementEDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Advanced degree preferred
