POSITION SUMMARY:
In this newly created role, the HR Coordinator supports the Global Real Estate (GRE) and IT Infrastructure teams (EIS) HR focused on the Atlanta location with support across all domestic locations. The Generalist processes transactions for HR programs such as position management/staffing, performance reviews, and temporary resource utilization tracking. Handles the data input of on-boarding and off-boarding employee data. Processes data corrections in HR and Payroll systems. Functions as Administrator for the Time and Attendance application and creates and distributes organizational charts. Under direct supervision, supports senior level Generalists in delivering services to business unit clients including but not limited to; initial intake of ER issues, performance management, and assist employees with questions and concerns.
DUTIES/OBJECTIVES:
• Process employee transactions using PeopleSoft and other HR systems as required. Transactions include new hires, promotions, transfers, pay adjustments, title changes and terminations. Audit HR and Payroll systems to ensure correct information has been input and processed.
• Responsible for position management. Process new Hire documents and hire/transfer/promotion transactions when necessary.
• Run and distribute monthly reports & Ad/Hoc reports to divisional & HR management as needed. Administers position management.
• Answer general employee questions, research problems and/or refer issues to appropriate subject matter experts
• Administers Time and Attendance process to provision accounts and make updates and changes to system. Maintain employee and approver status by reviewing audit reports on a weekly basis.
• Support the performance management process including performance review programs, Goal setting, and mid-year discussions. Reviews submitted forms to ensure ratings/comments in line with HR standards; discusses issues with Senior Management. Assist with PDR process as needed.
• Maintain Divisions global organization charts and headcount reports on a monthly basis. Partners with Senior Management on Departmental & Divisional reorganizations. Prepares proposed organization charts & assists with preparing job descriptions. Liaises with Compensation Representatives where appropriate. Processes approved changes for supported divisions.
• Assist with the temp process and usage. Reviews temp requests to ensure justification ties with business needs. For On-Payroll Temps performs the following: prepares offer letters, coordinates completion of hire paperwork, hires into PS.
• Oversee contractor approval and onboarding process. Initiates independent contractor checklist, ensures form is completed correctly, appropriate approvals are received and facilitates onboarding for contractors in concert system.
• Administer termination processing: scheduling and conducting exit interviews with administrative/clerical staff. As directed by Senior Management, creates & processes Separation/Layoff sheets and liaises with Legal & Employee Relations to get documents approved and agreements created. Distributes agreements and maintains termination files with signed agreements & exit interview sheets.
• Troubleshoot payroll, timecard and check issues with Payroll.
• Initial intake of employee investigations
• Service recognition award confirmation and administration
• Interaction with HR Service Center (MyHR) on employee leaves, FMLA requests, benefit assistance, and employee verification requests
• Coordinate new hire orientation and on-boarding with other departments on such items as building and systems access.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 years' Human Resources administrative or related experience required.
Media & entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or CertificationCollege degree or equivalent experience in related field required
Human Resources Certification or HR coursework preferred
Knowledge/Skills
Strong computer skills required, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Org Plus
Experience with personnel and payroll data systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Strong diplomacy and adaptability attributes to contend with exposure to upper management
Must possess strong logic and reasoning skills
Must have the ability to plan for, prioritize and execute multiple recurring and ad hoc tasks
Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail
