POSITION SUMMARY:
In this newly created role, the Sr. HR Coordinator supports all of the Time Warner Corporate, Global Real Estate (GRE), Global Media, GTC and IT Infrastructure teams (EIS) across all domestic locations. The Sr. Coordinator provides guidance, support, and coordination while effectively applying HR policies, procedures and practices. This role partners with various HR functions to successfully manage a growing employee population.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Administer the onboarding and offboarding process for all employees (ie. Provisioning, setting up orientation, new hire welcome bag, updating new hire deck, process new hire documents, scheduling exit interviews, notifications)
• Process employee transactions using PeopleSoft and other HR systems as required. Transactions include new hires, promotions, transfers, pay adjustments, title changes and terminations. Audit HR and Payroll systems to ensure correct information has been input and processed.
• Responsible for position management, which includesmonthly review of open and vacant positions and initiation of position requests.
• Run and distribute monthly reports & ad hoc reports to divisional & HR management as needed. Handle monthly and quarterly compliance requests.
• Answer general employee questions, research problems and/or refer issues to appropriate subject matter experts
• Administers the Time and Labor process to provision accounts and make updates and changes to system. Maintain employee and approver status based on department changes.
• Maintain global organization charts and headcount reports on a quarterly basis.
• Partners with Senior Management on Departmental & Divisional reorganizations. Prepares proposed organization charts & assists with preparing job descriptions. Liaises with Compensation Representatives where appropriate. Processes approved changes for supported divisions.
• As directed by Senior Management, creates & processes Separation/Layoff sheets and liaises with Legal & Employee Relations to get documents approved and agreements created. Distributes agreements and maintains termination files with signed agreements & exit interview sheets.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 3 years' Human Resources administrative or related experience required.
• Media & entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills required, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Org Plus
• Experience with personnel and payroll data systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Strong diplomacy and adaptability attributes to contend with exposure to upper management
• Must possess strong logic and reasoning skills
• Must have the ability to plan for, prioritize and execute multiple recurring and ad hoc tasks
• Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail
EDUCATION:
• College degree or equivalent experience in related field required
• Human Resources Certification or HR coursework preferred
