POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will work with the Director, HR Operations to support the processes required for the timely and accurate audit and review of payroll and HR data processing in support of Time Warner's Total Rewards Programs (HRIS/Payroll, Health & Welfare, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution Plans (Qualified and Non-Qualified) and Equity programs). The role will work closely with the individuals within the HR Operations, Global Benefits, Global Compensation and Corporate IT groups for assessing and enhancing key controls and audits for HR and payroll data, the enterprise-wide data warehouse and downstream 3rd party vendor processing. This function will also partner with Division HRIS/Payroll leads, Corporate Compensation, Benefits, Tax, Legal and Finance departments to support business and regulatory changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with HR Operations and Corporate IT to develop and/or enhance existing controls and audits to ensure accuracy for the processing of HR and Payroll data related to Time Warner's Total Rewards programs. This includes, but not limited to:
• Payroll deductions and contributions for H&W, 401K and other benefit programs
• HR events processing
• Data warehouse integration processing
• Periodic review of benefit elections, state/local tax rates, non-resident travel
• Review and confirmation of transaction files during critical pay cycles (bonus, year-end, equity vesting)
• Validation of payroll balancing (gross-to-net) for key individuals and critical transactions Assist Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Global Compensation and Benefits with delivery of Total Rewards programs including compliance and identifying opportunities for process improvements and more efficient administration. Accountable for processes, controls and results with willingness to research and resolve transactional issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5-7 years of relevant experience supporting HRIS, Payroll administration and Benefits administration and HR Shared Services delivery
• 3-5 years of HR systems projects, including process mapping, review and documentation Specialized Knowledge
• Knowledge on trends and internal processes and controls related to the delivery of Total Rewards programs
• Experience in payroll tax, IRS Section 125 and 409A compliance
• Experience with various HR and Payroll solutions (Workday, PeopleSoft)
• SOX controls for Payroll Administration Skills
• Strong knowledge of payroll and HR related transactions
• Operating in a Shared Services environment
• Proven experience in designing, developing and delivering systems related projects
• Proficient in MS Excel
EDUCATION:
A Bachelor's degree required
