Tigris Entertainment is a new startup film and TV development, packaging and production company based in Santa Monica, CA. We are seeking to interview LA based Editors for the projects below.
NOTE: We are not seeking to engage with an Editors agents or managers on this project. Please do NOT refer us to your agent. We will not contact agents due to the deferred payment nature of this project:
JOB:
• Shot on the RED camera.
• Special & high profile comedians & ''very very VERY interesting people'' lined up to appear in the show.
• Editor will get his teeth into editing fun, sexy, slick 10 minute burst episodes of a webseries to be shot in West Los Angeles.
• Initial episodes = 5 (to pitch to networks) with poster & talent.
• Total episodes we want to shoot = 13.
FEES:
• Deferred compensation contract (until Tigris receives a check from a TV/ cable network to pick up the project). Tigris will then pay all cast & crew as pre-agreed.
• Food + fuel paid if you are incurring transport during editing period.
• - No upfront Editor fees. Sorry! Everyone is on a deferred contract.
AGREEMENT:
• Editor has first refusal* on Editing the fully paid TV/ cable show after it has been picked up, but producer and Tigris cannot guarantee this, as it is outside its remit, but we will pressure and try!
THE PLAN:
Webseries is part of package submitted via our partners - a highly prestigious management company - based in Beverly Hills with over 65 years experience & highly successful TV department.
CRITERIA:
• Editor preferably has their own equipment and editing software.
• No relocation facility. (Editor MUST already live in Los Angles (This is MANDATORY).
• Editor of course works from home in between paid jobs.
• Tigris will provide external Hard Drives
Experienced editors highly preferable (within your paid job schedule constraints) ''There are jobs for the meals & jobs for the reels!''
