Think Jam is an award-winning entertainment marketing agency, which supplies products and services to clients in the UK, US and international entertainment sectors. With a combined workforce of over 90 people across its UK and US offices, the company delivers a comprehensive range of marketing services including consultancy, advertising production, creative, publicity, promotions and social media to its clients.
The Role
We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Publicist to join our rapidly growing team. Your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking broad-ranging research projects including media contacts, coverage platforms, partnership opportunities, competitor data, influencers and vendors
Creating written publicity assets and pitches
Attending and contributing to brainstorms
Assisting with the drafting of client proposals
Pitching of publicity features, talent interviews and asset exclusives to meet coverage targets with the support of senior team members
Assisting with logistical coordination of publicity events and activations
Establishing long-term relationships with writers, editors and vendors
Working with Publicity Assistants to maintain media database
Collecting daily coverage and clippings with help from Publicity Assistants
Preparing client reports and analytics with oversight from senior staff
Executing and overseeing administrative tasks as needed
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience and skills:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Communications
1+ years of relevant experience
Good working knowledge of the entertainment industry
Creative and analytical thinking skills
Excellent communication, organizational, time management and presentation skills
Resourcefulness, attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Drive to stay up-to-date on trends, technological developments and innovations as they relate to the publicity and social media landscapes
