This is an outstanding opportunity for a Junior Publicist to join one of the leading entertainment and brand marketing agencies, in the Los Angeles office.

Think Jam is an award-winning entertainment marketing agency, which supplies products and services to clients in the UK, US and international entertainment sectors. With a combined workforce of over 90 people across its UK and US offices, the company delivers a comprehensive range of marketing services including consultancy, advertising production, creative, publicity, promotions and social to its clients.
The role
An opportunity has now arisen in our Los Angeles office for a talented Jr. Publicist to join our publicity and social media team. You will be responsible for creating amazing digital publicity campaigns for our clients covering all areas from strategy right through to delivering standout results. We'll rely on you to build meaningful relationships with media and clients alike, to manage the team working on each campaign, as well as developing new business opportunities for the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Undertake broad-ranging research including: websites, platforms and environments for specific campaigns, release schedules, competitor data and campaign activity, brands, partners and promotional opportunities, database updates, influencers and tastemakers, suppliers, vendors and sub-contractors
• Communicate daily coverage to publicity team and capture clippings daily
• Write well structured editorial including sweepstakes copy and features
• Participate in brainstorms and the creation of client proposals
• Pitch publicity features and news stories to meet coverage targets with the support of senior team members
• Establish good relationships with writers, editors and websites
• Source promotional partners, put forward recommendations and suggestions for brand partnerships
• Update and maintain the contact database
• Keep abreast of new insights and knowledge of digital and social media changes
• Understand what is happening in the brand and cultural landscape
• Take meeting notes, highlight action points and circulate notes
• Prepare weekly campaign reports and assist with day of release and final client reports

• Conscientious timekeeping and effective time management
• Continuously resourceful, proactive and with a strong attention to detail
