Board Secretary
The Virgin Islands Public Television System has an immediate opening for a Board Secretary on the island of St. Thomas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Board of Directors and Executive Office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide personal and confidential secretarial services to the Board of Directors;
• Maintain appointment calendar, arrange travel and travel accommodations for members of the Board;
• Organize and maintain files, prepare and circulate correspondence, documents, presentations, and reports; and
• Conduct research as needed to complete request made by the Board.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Three (3) years of administrative or secretarial experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job;
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; and
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
