The University of Texas Semester in Los Angeles Program is hiring an instructor to teach a course in Film & TV Line Producing for the Fall 2014 semester beginning September 1st.
Applicants must have at least 8 years of experience as a working Line Producer and/or UPM on theatrically-released feature films, episodic TV shows, or sitcom TV shows, and must have experience working/managing DGA, SAG-AFTRA, and IATSE personnel, as well as a familiarity with the union basic agreements. Must be able to bring in guest speakers who are professionals currently working in the film/TV/new media industry.
Instructors will be required to teach 15 hours of coursework in the evenings at the UTLA Center for a salary of $2,000.
Teaching experience not required but certainly preferred.
