We are a management/production/consulting company with a great roster of A-list actors and actresses, music talent, as well as experienced and up-and-coming writers and directors.
Qualities we are looking for: Responsible, organized, intelligent, pro-active, diligent. Preferably, someone with interest in the representation business (actors, writers, directors).
As an intern at The Schiff Company, you will be required to do the following...
- take on the role of the company receptionist which requires great communication skills, quick thinking, and a concrete knowledge of our clients. The receptionist will also be expected to do participate in the other internship activities (below).
- act as a 2nd ''assistant'' to our current managers/assistants and cover desks which involves everything from rolling calls, scheduling meetings, coverage, running errands, etc.
- general administrative duties, personal and work related errands, scheduling meetings, coordinating with corresponding agencies, production offices, network and studio execs, reading scripts, writing coverage
It truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity to really get your foot in the door and learn the ins and outs of this industry.
We need people who can work minimum 2 to 3 days a week.
