Job Description:
The role of Marketing & PR Assistant is a wonderful opportunity for a bright and ambitious university graduate looking to start their career in the Creative/TV/Design sector.
This is a hands-on Marketing and PR role across our entire business in Los Angeles. The individual will have great written and communication skills along with the ability to build and nurture relationships with the people around them.
It's about being interested in what is interesting, absorbing The Mill's culture and understanding its beliefs, abilities and ambitions.
Responsibilities:
• Writing website copy
• Idea curation and seeking out artist blog posts
• Gathering credits for all work projects
• Award submissions (including creating all submission material) and award calendar upkeep
• Collating local office press coverage on a monthly basis
• Maintaining and updating a weekly office status and calendar of all internal/external events
• Uploading website content using back end web management (training will be provided)
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
• Bachelors degree in Marketing/Communications or related field
• A passion for TV/Design/Advertising/Art/Music essential
• Excellent written, verbal and copy-editing skills
• Outgoing, self-starter attitude with initiative and 'common-sense'
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and ability to build strong internal relationships across departments
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment working to deadlines
• Solid understanding of social and digital media channels
