The VP, Sales Planning & Analytics will lead the research, strategic planning and implementation of pricing levers (variable, dynamic and discounting) of tickets for productions including RCCS-NY, RCCS-Touring, the Spring Spectacular and family shows as needed. The VP will also focus on the optimization of ticket mix to maximize revenue performance. This position is responsible for revenue budget management and reporting.
The VP will identify, develop and maintain a strong suite of data analytic tools and reporting methods to enable consistent, stable, predictive data-based decisions. He/She will define, manage and communicate group and individual ticket pricing and inventory optimization with BO, internal groups and Ticketmaster to ensure efficient operations in-line with achieving annual revenue goals, and will be accountable for ticket revenue optimization including management of internal and external hold releases, pricing changes and marketing triggers. This position will lead forecasting, modeling and reporting on ticket revenues by show and across seasons in-line with approved budgets and defined operating/reporting practices.
The VP will actively manage Ticketmaster partnership to protect primary ticket sales and optimize secondary ticket market opportunity, manage TM Pricemaster tool and SAP reporting tools and relationship and influence business need/prioritization and timing for key direct-to-consumer sales campaigns in collaboration with SVP.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within perishable inventory industry such as airline, hotel and sports and/or entertainment industries. The ideal candidate will also have intimate knowledge of existing predictive modeling/trending and inventory management tools, interest in live entertainment marketing/sales as well as extensive experience with ticket operations and/or pricing model delivery and demonstrated experience in leading strategy. This position also requires extensive experience in revenue planning and a collaborative thinker with strong influencer abilities is essential. Key to success in this role is comprehensive knowledge of analytics, forecasting, and model generation to support business objectives, a strong analytical background with experience managing analytical teams and a strong ability to multi-task in complex matrix system.
