Intern - Creative Executive

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

College Spring Semester Internship: The Law Offices of Elsa Ramo, a Beverly Hills entertainment law firm, is looking for a dedicated intern to work directly with our Packaging & Sales Director (Creative Executive). This intern would be involved with servicing our clients, (mostly writers, producers, and investors) in their projects, and the duties and responsibilities involved are mostly in the creative aspects: from reviewing spec and other film scripts, sometimes reviewing completed films, researching and reviewing various other materials, helping plan markets, and possibly attending meetings with the Packaging & Sales Director. This is a great entry level position for college interns interested in a career in development, production and/or studios/networks jobs. It is also a chance to work closely with a Creative Development Executive and get a lot of hands on experience. We need a minimum 12/hours per week commitment.

Qualifications include: an above-average knowledge of film, a familiarity with screenplay format and layout, knowledge of the key points required in a screenplay, an understanding of the synopsis, and the screenplay development process. You must be able to organise clearly, in writing, your thoughts, criticisms, and opinions, as well as understand the different markets for films, and the trends in film production.
