We are now hiring for a business development/sales assistant for our college market. We're looking for an organized, articulate, and tenacious self-starter who will thrive at a small and very progressive company: recent college grads who know the college lecture market will have an advantage.
In this role you provide sales support to a team of overachievers by discovering new business opportunities, keeping our client database up to date, assisting with marketing initiatives, and qualifying existing and potential new clients. You are adept at online research and are able to meet quotas, juggle multiple tasks, and prioritize. You are a brilliant and persuasive communicator, on the phone and in email. You are engaged and engaging. While you will not be responsible for closing deals, we expect you to have a solid knowledge of the sales process and an entrepreneurial spirit. You intuitively know how to build relationships and retain clients, are a natural at customer service, and are skilled at soliciting the information essential to further a sale. The job is hard, but it's also fun and meaningful work.
