The Jay and Tony Show, a boutique production company with an overall deal at Relativity Television, is seeking an Executive Assistant for two Executive Producers. Prior administrative experience and a strong interest in reality television required. Must have proficiency with Mac products and the entire MS Office suite. Must be available to work overtime if needed.
Responsibilities:
o Answer phones, roll calls, manage phone sheet
o Maintain address books and schedules
o Setup and coordinate meetings, conference calls, et al.
o Meet and greet visitors
o Create expense reports and submit for payment
o Management of pitching materials (sizzle links, sizzle DVDs, treatments and paper materials) as well as all meeting feedback
o Development outreach - must be willing and able to handle making cold calls as needed
o Development research - as requested by EPs as well as independently; must be proactive in bringing forth new ideas
o Arrange travel as needed
o Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
o Strong interest in Televison Production, specifically Reality Television
o Minimum two years of administrative experience
o Bachelor's Degree
o Proficiency in Mac operating system and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
o Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Desired Skills:
o Strong writing skills and Creativity a big plus
o Prior assistant experience in an entertainment industry setting
o Ability to demonstrate discretion and interact comfortably with high-profile people
o Excellent phone demeanor and interpersonal skills
o Ability to work efficiently and with a professional demeanor
o Ability to interact well with others, and work well alone or in a group setting
o Ability to take direction, pay attention to detail, and prioritize tasks
