ID Agency is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to assist its fast-growing PR team with account and administrative work across its swath of automotive, fashion, and lifestyle clients. Agency specializes in trend and lifestyle marketing and is currently working with the following brands: olloclip, Ricoh, Good Peoples, Pirelli, Recaro, Kawasaki, and individual artists, among others.
The Public Relations Coordinator reports into the team's Account Executive and is responsible for: keeping the team organized, executing research projects for clients, building out PR and new business presentation decks, monitoring media coverage, maintaining social media pages, event planning and attending/recapping client meetings. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism from an accredited university, have at least one PR internship completed and possess the drive to build a career in Public Relations. Candidate must have excellent writing and speaking skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, be organized and deadline-oriented, an interest in lifestyle, fashion and automotive and the ability to work as a team.
Qualifications:
Must have interest and knowledge in lifestyle marketing business, trends, social media, pop culture, fashion, film, music, event and automotive industry.
Candidates should be responsible, dependable, organized, deadline-oriented and creative.
Must have the ability to initiate creative and innovative campaign ideas.
Should be able to manage own time, establish schedules and meet deadlines.
Candidates must have strong written and verbal communications as well as ingenuity and eagerness to learn. Have MAC knowledge, familiar with Microsoft Office, impeccable writing / editing skills and strong communication skills.
Essential duties & responsibilities include:
Maintain a database of lifestyle accounts for promotional opportunities
Assisting account directors, executives, managers, special projects
Working on closely with brand projects
Marketing online research: trends, DJ's, fashion, and automotive
Maintain a database of lifestyle accounts for promotional opportunities?
Skills and competencies:
Excellent written and communication skills, ability to media pitch
Outgoing creative thinker?
Online social networking skills preferred?
Knowledge and passion pop culture a plus?
Strong work ethic and marketing skills?
Proficient with Cision/Vocus?
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or four years college education; plus two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
