The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a proficient Senior Lighting Director to plan and direct all aspects of lighting for studio productions and special media event productions.
Join our team of studio professionals where we produce and deliver several network-quality programs including the daily live TV show, The 700 Club. This news and magazine-style program has the variety and pace of a morning show with in-depth reporting by our CBN staff located around the world.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Strong experience as lighting technician/director for major television productions
• Working knowledge of studio and remote camera placement
• Working knowledge of current and emerging TV lighting technology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electricity, generator operation and power distribution for studio and remote productions
• Comprehensive background in lighting design and programming for moving lights.
• Comprehensive knowledge of grip and rigging skills for studio and remote productions
• Proficient in the use of Windows based PC’s, data entry and CAD software
• Strong understanding of director intended on-screen effect
• Excellent creative ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to drive and operate a grip truck for remote productions
• Ability to climb ladders and work from a scissors lift at extended heights
• Ability to carry lighting gear, lift at least 40 pounds and stand or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to respond to directions in a minimum amount of time
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Ability to travel occasionally
• Ability to work all shifts, extended hours and meet unexpected work demands
