NYC Production Internship

The Chapter Media seeks Production Interns for Winter-Spring 2012 who want to learn production from the ground up. Interns should be aiming to be hirable Production Coordinators & fully functioning within a Production Office by the end of their internship.
Much activity will be spent prepping for shoots. Interns will also serve as Intern-PAs on set & help to prepare pitch elements for NYC agencies.
Responsibilities:
-Office administration
-Assist in developing pitch content
-Assisting in-house director (casting, mood boards, visual references)
-Shoot coordination (location, transportation, art, equipment)
-Reading & evaluating boards & scripts
Expectations:
-Interns must be available for a minimum of three days/week, 10 AM – 5 PM. Interns are encouraged to be available for four or more days/week.
-Insistence on quality of work & understanding within a professional setting
-Desire for immediate feedback & development
-Follow through & ability to preempt
Notes:
-No set experience is necessary
-This is an unpaid internship. Interns enrolled in college require credit
-Interns may begin mid December or early January
