The Chapter Media seeks Editing / Production Interns for Winter-Spring 2012 who want to learn Pitching → Production → Post.
Interns should be aiming to be hirable Production Coordinators or Editors by the end of their internship. Interns will swing between working alongside in-house editors & in-house producers. Interns will also serve as Intern-PAs on set.
Responsibilities:
-Office administration
-Assisting with editing & motion graphics
-Assisting with developing pitch material for NYC agencies
-Shoot coordination (location, transportation, art, equipment)
-Assisting in-house director (casting, mood boards, visual references)
-Reading & evaluating boards & scripts
Expectations:
-Interns must be available for a minimum of three days/week, 10 AM – 5 PM. Interns are encouraged to be available for four or more days/week
-Proficiency in Final Cut Pro
-Insistence on quality of work in a professional setting
-Desire for immediate feedback & development
-Follow through & ability to preempt
Notes:
-Interns may begin mid December or early January
-No set experience is necessary
-This is an unpaid internship. Interns enrolled in college require credit
