Production Manager

Job Description:
The Production Manager/Sound Engineer works directly with the Technical Director to provide a smooth day-to-day operation of all operational aspects of the American Pavilion.
Duties include:
• Work with Pavilion Director of Operations to get oriented with the procedures and requirements for all technical operations of the Pavilion, including: phones; power; lights; setup/tear down for events; closed circuit television furnishings; décor and signs; office machines.
• Installation of lights, signage/graphics, walls and décor prior to the opening of the American Pavilion.
• Installation and operation of sound system, including mixer, speakers, headset and video feed, to be used for daily events.
• Attend daily operation meetings with other Pavilion staff.
• Work with Pavilion staff, vendors and sponsors to determine the on-going needs for individual events and exhibits.
• Each day, check that all equipment is in good working order and that all floor coverings, walls, banners and signs are in place.
• Assist with the teardown, equipment return, inventory, packing and shipping/storage of The American Pavilion. Responsibilities completed when packing of the entire Pavilion is complete and delivery trucks are loaded.
• One Production Manager or Technical Director to be on site whenever the Pavilion is open for public or private activities. Both Production Manager and Technical Director to be on site each day from 10AM until 8PM. Special events or technical problems may require additional hours.
• Other duties as assigned
