Job Description
If you are creative and detail oriented with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, come join our team at TheWrap News! We are a looking for a creative assistant with an emphasis in branded entertainment. TheWrap is the essential voice of entertainment breaking news with content distribution across multiple platforms including digital, video, social, print, and events. This position will be responsible for assisting with vital creative projects. This position will work closely with creative and sales and touch various departments within the company. If you are organized, inventive, self-motivated and ready to work in digital entertainment then we would love to talk to you.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist creative director in the creation of editorial and sales collateral, decks, graphics, media kits and house ads used by both the sales and editorial team.
• Assist in producing photoshoots.
• Assist in production of magazines
• Assist in various business office functions as needed.
• Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, emails, mailings, scanning, deliveries, etc.
• Attend and contribute to weekly sales meeting and editorial meeting.
• Type and proofread memos, letters, emails and copy.
• Help maintain Creative Cloud accounts and budgets.
• Organize and maintain client list, RFPs, and contact list.
• Maintain advertising and production Box servers
• Help to create lists that facilitate sales outreach
Other Responsibilities:
• Acknowledgement of team-based environment, working together to reach maximum revenue output.
• Ownership of projects and understanding of TheWrap's proprietary internal information.
• Consciousness of colleagues, space, and unique culture of the TheWrap.
• Flexibility handing multiple tasks within various departments.
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
• Graphic Design background, with experience in Indesign, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Branded Entertainment
• Experience or training in sales, marketing, or agency preferred, but willing to make exceptions for the right candidate.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills to sustain and entertain one on one sales interaction with customers and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Desire to succeed.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree desired, but will make exception for right candidate.
Skills: Communication, Data Entry, Reporting, Administrative Writing, PowerPoint, Adobe CC, Microsoft Office, Customer Focus, Attention to Detail, Professionalism, Team Player, Calm Under Pressure, Solution-Based, and Proactive.
