Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Manage client accounts as well as support on select senior team accounts
Proactively communicate with clients on a daily basis
Strategic planning and execution
Composing press releases and media alerts
Updating Client written material
Pitching features and news stories
Conducting market research
Oversee sample requests
Provide managerial support to Coordinator and/or Assistant
Editor/ Stylist Appointments
Conduct seasonal press appointments for clients
Hold showroom appointments
Schedule and attend desksides if necessary
Manage showroom of clothing and accessories samples
Daily communication with media
Monitor press coverage and provide weekly and/or monthly reporting
Manage and coordinate press events
Manage and compile client reports and presentations
Develop targeted media lists depending on client and project
Support the business development department by participating in team brainstorms and assisting the creation of proposals/decks
Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal business hours in the event of deadlines or projects
Qualifications, skills & experience :
Minimum 3 years experience in PR related role
BA/MA in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field, or equivalent experience, preferred
Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns
Able to creatively & strategically plan and implement PR campaigns, partnerships and events
Strong relationships with local and national industry contacts
Team player who thrives on collaboration
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid experience with social media
Must be able to perform under tight deadlines with precision and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize
