Responsibilities
Are you friendly and outgoing? Use your winning smile to greet guests, provide directions, information, and control guest flow. With the help of your fellow cast members you will maintain orderly flow of guests into and out of the Theatre. This is a very fast paced environment and you will need to have a big voice at times, not be overwhelmed by crowds of people. You will be asked A LOT of questions, because you will be face-to-face with our guests.
• As guests queue up for a show, you will greet them and check their tickets
• Know the seat locations within the Theatre and be able to direct guests to their seats
• Set up and remove, stanchions and barricades
• Maintain clear pedestrian pathways, around the Theatre to ensure no store or restaurant entrances are blocked along the boulevard
• All queues must be clean and safe, with trash picked up on a regular basis
Basic Qualifications
• Enthusiastic about interacting with and helping Guests
• Friendly and helpful to all of our guests (and cast members too!), and strive to exceed our guests' expectations
• You must be self-directed and take initiative
• Great communications skills are required
• Must become familiar with the Theatre's Crisis Management procedures to help guests in case of an emergency
• Must become familiar with the Theatre's show times, VIP procedures, food, services, nearby tourist attractions and other Hollywood locations
• Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
• Must be willing to be cross-trained in other areas
• Perform other duties as directed by the management team, with whom you will be working
• Availability to work a designated 8-hour shift on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
• Availability to work a designated 8-hour shift on all holidays
• Availability to work a designated 8-hour shift for Special Events and Premieres
Preferred Qualifications
• Theatre experience
Required Education
• High School Graduate required
