Full Time Job
The Walt Disney Animation Studios Talent Development Representative (Rep) will lead the coordination and programming of our next generation programs, studio onboarding, and various cultural studio engagement programs to promote creativity, collaboration and inspiration. The Rep will interface with various levels of Production, Artist and Crew Managers, Studio Department Leaders, Technology, HR & Recruitment, Finance, Business and Legal Affairs, all levels of Executives and the Talent Development department.
Responsibilities
• Lead next generation Intern and Apprentice programs by working with department leaders, artist managers, mentors and productions
• Support administration of next gen programs through attention to scheduling of reviews, events, collaborative moments
• Create and administer programming for next gen programming including production management of speakers, presentations and logistics
• Heavy scheduling and partnership with artist management, HR and Recruitment
• Lead and facilitate all studio onboarding for all new hires including orientation welcome, executive meet and greets, tours and events
• Guide self-engaged efforts as it relates to local school or local community outreach
• Create new ideas to enhance our new hire experience, our studio engagement and facilitate meet and greets around the studio
• Create, lead, execute and or facilitate various engagement events, programs including Showcase, Spark, New Hire Welcomes, etc.
• Support Talent Development & Design initiatives throughout the year
• Studio Tour Ambassador
• Other duties as needed
Basic Qualifications
• Must be a strategic big picture thinker but possesses strong execution skills
• Must have the ability to work with all types of highly creative, artistic and technical disciplines with proven ability to deal with a variety of individuals, levels and situations in a professional environment
• Must lead with grace, confidence and empathy internally and externally
• Must be a people person
• Public speaking skills, poise and grace in interacting and fostering multi-generations
• Understanding of a creative environments and it's affect on cultural and business values
• Has acted as an Ambassador and representative of a company's or studio's cultural and business values
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent attention to details and excels and follow-up
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Experience coordinating events and complex projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to execute appropriate solutions
• Must be proficient with Word, Excel, Chrome, Keynote/PowerPoint, Photoshop and social apps
• Flexible and strong work ethic
• 1-3 Years in Talent Development, production, or related department
Preferred Qualifications
• The ideal candidate for this position is mature, intelligent, responsible, creative, innovative, high energy self starter with Animation, film or other creative environment background
Preferred Education
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred
