The Walt Disney Studios encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, home entertainment releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Manager, Digital Marketing in Burbank, CA.
Responsibilities
• In close partnership with VP, lead digital marketing strategy, creative development, and campaign execution for Lucasfilm, Marvel, and Disney Live Action home entertainment releases across the following areas:
• Social Media Content Creation & Distribution
• Digital Ad Creative & Product Landing Pages
• Cross-Platform Influencer Programs
• Technology & Content Partnerships
• Fan Activations & Interactive Experiences
• CRM (Including Email, Promotions & Purchase Incentives)
• Write and oversee updates to key campaign documents, including Digital Marketing Strategy & Creative Briefs and Digital Marketing Calendars
• Drive creative vision for all digital ads, social content, and websites and ensure best-in-class quality and alignment with overall marketing strategy
• Spearhead internal partner relationships with Product Management, PR, Media, Creative, Promotions, CRM, and Franchise teams and communicate/coordinate digital marketing efforts as needed
• Secure additional digital support from cross-company teams, including Consumer Products & Interactive Media, Music Group, Parks & Resorts, and Media Networks
• Oversee on-site social coverage and custom content opportunities including Facebook Live events, Live Twitter Q&As, and general coverage for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and other social platforms
• Identify and serve as the subject area expert in key emerging digital marketing areas (e.g. Virtual Reality)
• Stay up to date on key trends, pop culture, new social media platform features, and marketing technology to ensure all campaigns are relevant and cutting-edge
Basic Qualifications
• 7 years relevant digital marketing experience
• Passion for Lucasfilm and Marvel brands and knowledge of expanded universe/film libraries
• Ability to represent VP and department in key stakeholder meetings and pitch creative ideas effectively
• Strong knowledge of all mainstream social media platforms, digital ad formats, and emerging technology
• Experience working in a complex, matrixed environment, both in a supervisory role and as part of a team
• Superior project management skills - ability to manage multiple campaigns concurrently and deliver campaign elements on time and on budget
• Creative writing/copywriting/editing experience preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Keynote a plus
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree
