Responsibilities
Making An Impact
In this role, you will lead an internal consulting team responsible for developing integrated human resources solutions that enable Company-wide and Studio business goals, including fostering an inclusive and inspiring workplace where our employees can be their best. Working collaboratively with business leaders and HR functional partners, you will focus on:
• Assessing gaps between 'desired' and 'actual' business performance and contributing factors, to enable the development of relevant solutions
• Developing options for organizing work and people through structure, roles, processes, governance practices and culture to optimize business performance
• Designing and delivering an on-going menu of leadership development programs and resources to support business, talent and diversity priorities
• Leading change management for key initiatives to implement enduring solutions
• Partnering with HR functional counterparts across The Walt Disney Company and Disney Studio to address common priorities
• Evaluating the effectiveness and impact of OD and learning strategies to inform continuous improvement efforts
• Work closely with HR teams on strategies that maximize employee engagement and enablement and facilitate a culture that maximizes organizational productivity
• Leading and coaching the OD and Learning group to ensure a high performing culture where team members can demonstrate their best abilities, deliver meaningful results and continuously grow and develop is also essential to success in this role.
Basic Qualifications
• 10 years experience in a combination of Strategy Development, Organization Design, Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Change Management or related disciplines
• 3 years experience in leading and developing staff professionals
• Proven experience building effective consulting teams to deliver tailored and integrated HR solutions to clients
• Highly creative and flexible approach to managing complex projects that cut across multiple business units
• Demonstrates strong business acumen, ability to think strategically and critically, with a track record of success in partnering with business leaders
Required Education
• BA/BS degree in HR, Industrial/Org Psychology, Organization Development or relevant experience
Preferred Education
• MBA / Masters or PhD in a related field preferred
