The Creative Manager will deliver campaign materials for marketing execution across a planned multi - media marketing strategy for campaigns for the UK.
Own the development of brand creative in the UK across the full lifecycle of Theatrical & Home Entertainment, and with additional creative influence over Franchise and Disney Media partner campaigns and the wider business.
Brand creative lead for development of all creative marketing assets for Disney Live Action, Disney Feature Animation movies through lifecycle.
Develop and manage a consistent brand creative for each umbrella studio brand, acting as brand creative guardian for each movie's creative campaign in UK under each Studio banner.
Directed on EMEA brand strategy from Studio brand and Creative Strategy leads for EMEA, the role will determine the look, feel and format of each creative output across Print, AV, Digital Marketing & PR event materials across multiple platforms in the UK in collaboration with UK Brand Mar-Comms Team leads & where relevant, the Digital Mar-Comms leads.
Selects, engages, briefs and directs agencies AND consults Burbank and internal marketing stakeholders to develop coherent, best in class, creative asset solutions for each title, by audience, in line with regional creative strategy.
Drives consolidation of UK marketing assets and sharing of creative assets through TWDC, across EMEA markets and with ancillary business groups, ensuring efficiency and creative consistency across HE, DMD and Franchise (where relevant).
Drives consistency across TWDC for Studio IP creative by monitoring, reporting and communicating creative developments, positioning and tweaks to all relevant brand team and wider TWDC members.
Works with the insights team and UK brand managers to create relevant UK insights / research plans for testing materials with audiences, ascertaining marketing content needs, identifying creative hooks, themes, and triggers with which to build creative solutions across platforms.
Attends test previews, focus groups and initiates / coordinates all Theatrical & HE creative content testing in the UK. Assists in developing relevant local tools which track sentiment and interest.
Constant monitoring of insights (sentiment studies, social response to creative) to identify actions / tactics that augment campaign's in motion and inform long tail / future IP under studio banner.
Manage external creative agency engagement, including creative briefing and tracking, to deliver on creative briefs to deliver assets.
Identify, track talent within and appoint creative agencies who work with marketing & communications brand leads, digital stakeholders to determine creative campaign requirements.
Manage materials access between Studio and agencies whilst ensuring and facilitating vendor security and asset handling
Work with Comms & Marketing brand leads on publicity materials, junkets, and events, to establish requirements and build creative solutions (including tickets, decorative materials, FOH assets).
Ensure high quality standards in campaign execution, sharing best practices and drive creative approvals on all major creative assets across EMEA markets.
Upstream Burbank, Regional, local EMEA market comms and reporting with International creative teams.
Communicates through various teams, the specific bespoke creative campaign needs and assists in flow through to Burbank of requirements, nuances, alongside creative strategy lead for EMEA and Studio EMEA Brand leads.
The successful candidate will have:
• Significant manager level experience of Creative Theatrical and/or Home entertainment Consumer creative Marketing experience • Deep demonstrable knowledge of creative processes across platforms / formats. (Print, AV, Digital) • Must provide clear evidence of Creative flair and Creative sensibility and demonstrable ability to manage effectively, multiple stakeholders creative requirements, and feedback. • Ability to manage agencies and write clear creative briefs for agency deployment • Ability to thrive in fast moving, complex organisational framework
