Creative Coordinator (Disney Character Voices International)

We are seeking a Creative Coordinator for Disney Character Voices International at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA.
Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for creating and editing dubbing reference material for casting purposes, creating vocal playbacks for music, systems management, desktop publishing for presentations, vendor management and other miscellaneous creative and technical responsibilities.
This position will also help oversee various facets of international localization and materials supply. Candidate will be involved in determining the creative direction for quality and cost-effective dubbing of TV product, direct-to-video product, and features, including both live-action and animated titles. This will consist of identifying and documenting all dubbing challenges, including translation challenges, casting, text inserts, music strategy and legal clearances.
Basic Qualifications
• Experience in voice-over recording, casting and an understanding of international dubbing.
• Familiarity with the Disney characters and Disney film archive is critical.
• Proficient in video editing in either Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere, sound editing in ProTools, and desk-top publishing in Power Point/Keynote.
• An understanding of music and the ability to read music notation is also required.
• Additionally, job will require interface with multiple business units of the Walt Disney Company, therefore candidate must have customer service experience and a keen sense of diplomacy.
• Candidate is also required to be self-motivated and able to identify global needs and respond to them expeditiously.
Preferred Qualifications
• Candidate must have the experience to identify cultural challenges for product localization, and therefore fluency in a second language is preferred.
