The Assistant Product Marketing Manager (PMM), Customer Acquisition will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the overall user acquisition strategy for Movies Anywhere. This individual will partner with Product Marketing Manager, Customer Acquisition, to manage all top-of-funnel user acquisition marketing programs and growth initiatives across a wide variety of channels including paid media, social, display, SEO/SEM, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is data-driven, customer-obsessed, and has a bias for action. This individual will report to Product Marketing Manager, Customer Acquisition.
Responsibilities
• Support development of a multi-channel marketing strategy and execution plan that maximizes user acquisition, drives app downloads and generates user sign-ups across platforms (mobile, web, connected TVs).
• Support ideation, lead execution and on-time delivery and management of all paid media assets and deliverables, including writing copy, guiding creative direction of graphics/video, and securing approvals, coordinating between design, media agency and internal leadership.
• Be a thought partner for the marketing team to push the envelope in how we drive customer acquisition and grow the user base.
• Analyze performance metrics, market research, and customer data insights to inform user acquisition marketing initiatives.
• Work across the organization to optimize campaigns, including design, social, and content.
• Marketing lead for SEO/ASO efforts. Manage vendor relationship, collaborate with internal teams to create high-quality strategies and develop content around important, relevant search terms that can be deployed across owned and third party platforms (e.g., social, YouTube).
• Collaborate with Asst. PMM, Engagement to inform and support all marketing programs across user funnel (from acquisition to engagement). Includes, but is not limited to:
• Marketing campaign optimization
• Seek out influencers and actively engaged customers and identify strategies to motivate them
• Capture and analyze appropriate data/metrics, insights and best practices
• Stay up-to-date with latest trends and changes in Customer Acquisition marketing, including Direct Response, Search, Social, Paid Media, Content Strategy, etc.
Basic Qualifications
• 3 years of demonstrable relevant professional experience in acquisition marketing, including experience in the areas of paid media and partnership marketing.
• Experience in taking ownership & delivering results in dynamic business environment.
• Be comfortable in getting hands dirty to get things done.
• Ability to leverage insights to design and implement innovative acquisition programs.
Preferred Qualifications
• Performance marketing, social, and/or paid media experience
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree is required
