The Global HR Operations team is responsible for the strategic development and execution of HR services and information to employees, managers, and HR partners throughout the Walt Disney Company.
This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service by ensuring accurate processing of all types of HR transactions and HR/Payroll inquiries in an efficient and effective manner. This position also handles process escalations from Associates and/or requests from Regional Managers as needed. Additionally, it is responsible for quality audits and reporting.
Responsibilities
HR Transaction Handling and Inquiries
• Respond to inquiries via all Global HR Operations Service channels
• Handle escalated customer inquiries and transactions
• Conduct complex transaction-processing specific to role utilizing the tools and resources provided
• Perform assigned audits
• Monitor incoming channels and distribute work to appropriate location
Customer Service
• Demonstrate customer service excellence in every transaction and engagement
• Administer rules for multi-business unit, multi-state and multi-union environments
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, security and completeness
• Apply current Federal/State/Local Laws and policies in the completion of tasks
• Ensure all internal controls procedures are performed as required
• Maintain accurate documentation related to job
Problem Identification
• Identify opportunities in employee or agent content
• Identify and address inaccuracies in responses on social posts (i.e. Yammer)
• Identify opportunities in process steps and tee up for review
• Participate in testing as needed
Basic Qualifications
• Previous work experience in an operations environment
• Previous Disney experience
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service
• Partnering skills
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills as well as telephone, email, and chat etiquette skills
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrate computer efficiency within a Windows environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi task
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply policies and procedures applicable to functional area
• Ability to understand case notes in order to provide excellent customer service and to identify/escalate other issues or root causes
• Ability to identify daily operational gaps and proactively address them
• Ability to identify patterns that could indicate systemic issues
• Demonstrated ability to adjust to change in a positive, productive manner
• Ability to demonstrate awareness of and acknowledgement of segment differences
• Ability to meet established quality control standards
• Ability to handle and secure confidential information
Required Education
• HS degree or equivalent
