An exciting opportunity is available at The Third Floor, Inc. for a Finance Assistant. The Third Floor was founded to help inspired filmmakers realize their creative visions. By creating highly detailed previsualizations, our animators & artists hold an impactful role in the film-making process. At The Third Floor, we work together on some of Hollywood's biggest films.
The position we are looking to fill is responsible for all day-to-day bookkeeping and operational accounting tasks.
Responsibilities include:
• General Ledger management
• Invoice clients
• Assist with accounts receivable management
• Prepare vendor payments
• Assist with accounts payable management
• Input payroll
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Manage and reconcile credit card receipts and expense reports
• Keep accounting system current
• Assist with the monthly close
• Assist with budget preparations
• Other ad hoc projects as requested by management
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related major
• Current QuickBooks experience mandatory
• Advanced understanding of General Ledger postings required
• QuickBooks consolidations and foreign currency experience desired
• 1-2 years professional experience
• Detail oriented and very organized
• Self-starter, team player
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
